Where to start
Start with an approved manuscript and choose the destination before exporting. Different stores accept different file types and ask for different information. A completed writing project is the starting point for publication, not proof that the upload is ready.
Keep a publication folder with the source manuscript, final ebook, cover, description and release checklist. EarnDraft can help create written books and export files; retailer submission, sales and disclosure answers remain separate tasks you complete yourself.
Follow the publication sequence
- Finish structural, factual and language review, then freeze a release copy.
- Prepare the ebook format accepted by your destination and check chapter navigation.
- Create the cover and draft accurate title, author, description and category information.
- Complete the platform's account and content requirements through its official workflow.
- Upload, preview the converted result and correct defects before publishing.
- After release, inspect the live listing and available sample before announcing the book.
Review after conversion, not just before upload
Your local EPUB may look correct, but the store's processing can reveal a navigation or image issue. Open the supplied preview, jump to a middle chapter and inspect the most complex page. Confirm that the title, cover and description match the version you intended to release.
Keep the launch message separate until the listing is actually available and checked. If you later correct the manuscript, retain a new release record and update the publication files through the platform's process. That makes future support or corrections easier than guessing which file readers received.
Check your result
- The uploaded file is the verified release version.
- Navigation and images work in the destination preview.
- Listing details accurately describe the book.
- The live listing has been checked before promotion.
