What kinds of books can I create?
The MVP supports three book types: Lead Magnets (5–7 chapters, perfect for email capture), How-To Guides (10–12 chapters), and Workbooks (10–15 chapters with exercises). More types ship in P1.
Is the preview really free?
Yes. You can describe your idea, get a chaptered brief, and watch your first chapters build live without a credit card. You only pay when you want to finish, download, or sell the book.
Do I own the commercial rights to my book?
Yes. Every paid plan — and every credit pack — includes a full commercial license: sell the ebook on your microsite, KDP, Etsy, or anywhere else and keep your earnings (minus standard payment fees). See the Terms for the plain-English grant.
How does selling from a microsite work?
Every book can go live on a public sales page on our platform with Polar checkout built in. Polar acts as Merchant of Record, so sales tax is handled for you. You get a funnel dashboard: views, sample downloads, checkouts, and revenue per book.
Do I need to disclose AI-generated content on KDP?
Yes, Amazon KDP requires you to disclose AI-generated content. We make it automatic: an AI-disclosure checkbox is checked by default at export, a disclosure page is included in your files, and your microsite listing pre-fills the disclosure answer.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are managed through Polar's customer portal — cancel in one click, keep your plan until the end of the billing period, and keep every file you already exported. Credit packs never expire.
