How do you turn a course into an ebook?
Your course already contains a book — buried under video pacing, Q&A, and filler. Here is the repurposing method, or run it automatically with Course to Ebook Generator.

Keep the lessons, cut the classroom
A course contains a book plus classroom overhead: recaps, live tangents, tech troubleshooting, motivation segments. The book keeps the teaching spine — concepts, steps, examples — and cuts everything that only made sense live.
Go module by module and mark each segment keep, cut, or condense. Condensing is where most of the work lives: a twenty-minute lesson usually compresses to three pages once the repetition comes out.
Restructure around questions, not lessons
Course order follows teaching logic; book order follows reading logic. Re-sequence your kept material around the reader's questions in the order they would ask them — which often means merging modules, splitting bloated ones, and writing fresh transitions.
Map the result onto a five-chapter spine: problem, fast win, depth, proof (your student results live here), next step — which is, naturally, the course itself.
- Merge modules that answer the same question.
- Split lessons carrying two ideas.
- Move student results into a dedicated proof chapter.
Repurpose the course this week
Feed in your lessons; get back a structured, sellable ebook.
Add the three book-only pages
Repurposed ebooks need three things courses don't: an introduction that sells the rest of the book, a conclusion that points at the course, and a resources page with every link mentioned. These pages are short and do disproportionate work — write them last, when you know exactly what the book contains.
The conclusion deserves care: one invitation to the course, specific about who it is for. The ebook reader is your warmest lead; don't waste the moment on vague “learn more” links.
Price it as the entry point
Position the ebook below the course — typically a fraction of the course price — so it reads as the obvious first step rather than a competing purchase. Our pricing walkthrough covers how length shapes the exact number.
Then distribute it everywhere the course isn't: Etsy for discovery, your newsletter as a tripwire, and bundles with related creators. Every copy sold is a pre-qualified course lead.
